PADI extended the time period for all Medic First Aid Instrctoren who have not participated in an update, yet. To become EFR Instructor gets even more valuable now with the new released PADI Rescue Course.

Individuals who are current CPR/First Aid instructors with another qualifying organization (p.e. MFA Instructors) may choose to earn the Emergency First Response Instructor rating by completing the Emergency First Response Instructor Crossover course. This course gives credit for past teaching experience and focuses on familiarizing candidates with the Emergency First Response course philosophy and structure.

Prerequesites:
The Emergency First Response Crossover course is open to all CPR/First Aid Instructors who hold current adult, child and infant CPR/First Aid teaching credentials from another CPR/First Aid training organization.

PADI Fee: Emergency First Response Instructor Application: approx. 75.- €
New updated EFR Instructors are then in Teaching Status until the end of 2011.
