Course (Nitrox)
(For certified divers)
In this course you will learn to blend enriched air within
one percent of the target mix as measured by oxygen content,
following accepted safety protocols and standards.
List the advantages
and disadvantages of different blending methodologies as
well as explain the potential hazards related to handling
oxygen, and how to manage those hazards.
Explain and
demonstrate the steps for oxygen cleaning equipment such
as cylinders, regulators, partial pressure blending systems,
etc.
And finally, describe the requirements for oxygen service.
Duration:
1 day, knowledge
development & blending, no open water dives!
Prerequisites: EANx (Nitrox) User, PADI
or equivalent

(For DSAT Gasblenders and Instructors)
If you are an instructor already, and DSAT Gas Blender
as well, you have the opportunity to become DSAT Gas Blender
Instructor and train your students blending enriched air.
In this
one-day program we will introduce you to the course materials
provided by PADI to teach this course effectively. Apart
of that, we will give you many ideas how to organize and
market it.
Actually this level it’s MUST for all instructors
entering the TEC area!

Renewed PADI Open Water Scuba Instructor or higher
PADI EANx Specialty Instructor
DSAT Gasblender or equivalent

Fees:
The DSAT Gasblender is certified with a PIC, which
is included in the course price.
The
DSAT Gasblender Instructor course has the same fee
as a Specialty Instructor: 31,32 €
